If physical therapy is not effective, other treatments such as bracing, casting, or night splints may be used to gently stretch the muscles and encourage normal walking. In cases related to neurological or muscular conditions, a more comprehensive approach, including medical management, physical therapy, and sometimes surgical interventions, may be necessary to address the underlying condition and improve gait. Early intervention and appropriate treatment are crucial for preventing complications such as muscle contractures and ensuring normal development and mobility.
